Sunday Hunting in Pennsylvania
The United Bowhunters of Pennsylvania recently conducted a membership poll which included opinion questions on the topic of Sunday Hunting in Pennsylvania. A previous poll on this subject was conducted in 2004. In order to evaluate any change in the UBP memberships opinion since 2004, the same questions were asked.
Even though membership numbers fluctuate year to year and there was some turn-over in membership, the results of the poll are identical to the results obtained in the 2004 poll. The membership of the UBP supports Sunday Hunting Statewide, however does not support separation of a Sunday Hunting opportunity between private and public lands.
Therefore the leadership of the United Bowhunters of Pennsylvania encourages the General Assembly and the Pennsylvania Game Commission to work together to provide additional Sunday Hunting opportunities.
